Payment Modules in the Protech1inc Business Application - Payment modules include PayPal, Credit card processing, Site Credits, Money Orders and Bank wires. The picture below is a quick overview of the actual payment processing screen. We have worked hard to allow the application to do the work so there is no calculations on the users part. Lets look at an example; a customer buys your auction from eBay and pays with PayPal but calls you the next morning and says I only want two of those products instead of 3? You would simply change the Quantity of the line item ordered and hit the payment tab, The application immediately pops up a screen and says your paid amount does not match the order amount, would you like to refund the customer via PayPal now? You click yes, the payment is refunded via PayPal and you would continue to process the order. The screenshot below gives you an idea of how the screen looks. Credit Card Processing Module - We wrote our own credit card processing module and had it certified by Vital Processing. In-order to use this module you would need a merchant account with each credit card vendor like MasterCard/Visa, AMX and Discover. PayPal Integration Module- We are fully integrated with PayPal. You can process payments and send refunds directly from the application itself. We are working on getting PayPal to offer Dispute API's as well. You can also configure PayPal to do all of your payment processing if that is what you prefer. Site Credit Module - This module will allow your company to issue website credits instead of giving money back to a customer. This is a very handy feature because it allows your customers to return products for a site credit to be used on a future order. This keeps the money in your company at all times. The application ties the customers email address to the site credit so the next time an order that email address is used the application notifies you that the customer has a site credit and it would then be your option to use it or not. Bank wire Module - We have an integrated Bank wire module which allows you to configure the bank account the Bank wires come into. This allows you to accept international orders without any risk associated with the transaction. A brief note here is when using this as an option make sure the account is setup to only allow incoming amounts and not outgoing amounts for obvious security reasons.
